Sarah Robins Powell

Sarah Robins Powell

Growing up in a family of artists, Sarah Robins developed an early love of art, art history and nature. After first studying Fine Arts at Auburn University, where she received her BFA summa cum laude in Graphic Design, Sarah Robins went on to a career in custom publishing and marketing before branching out on her own. Her freelance business focuses primarily on branding, promotion, illustration and hand-lettering. Sarah Robins’ fine art background translates into her use of traditional techniques, such as painting, drawing and collage, and she enjoys creating work that sparks conversation and engages the imagination. She often draws influence from history and literature, as well as inspiration from the vintage children’s picture books that were read to her as a child. Sarah Robins' work has appeared in Martha Stewart Weddings, Birmingham Magazine, Style Me Pretty, and Snippet & Ink. She now lives in Huntsville, Alabama, with her husband, Luke, and their three little girls.
